Accessibility

Our site, our standard.

ACCESS Broadway NY is a practice about access. The site that represents the practice has to hold the same standard. We target WCAG 2.2 AA across every public page, on every device, in every assistive technology we can test against.

What we built in

  • A built-in accessibility panel to adjust text size, turn on high contrast, and reduce motion — saved to your device, and layered on top of your browser and operating-system settings, which we also honor.
  • Semantic HTML landmarks on every page (header, main, footer, nav).
  • A “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element.
  • Visible focus rings on every interactive element.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 AA on body, headings, and links.
  • Form labels associated to inputs, with required-state and error-state announced.
  • An inquiry form that works without JavaScript via a progressive server action.
  • prefers-reduced-motion honored across animations and transitions.
  • Native <details>-based mobile menu — no custom keyboard handling required.

For the Record

Known gaps

This site is in active development. Pages currently marked “Draft” use placeholder copy until Maria reviews the final wording. Photography and partner logos arrive in a later release. If you spot something that isn’t working for you, we want to know.

Tell us about a problem
